We have been established in Wandsworth, since 1973, over a third of a century as cabinetmakers and joiners and in our current premises since 1986. Although nowadays mostly making hardwood furniture in all styles, our speciality has always been the unusual and the difficult. Historic woodworking has also been of great interest and I bring your attention to the courses that I give. We also undertake conservation work, in the field of both furniture and architecture.
Design
Our designs are commission-led; working with the ideas and needs of our customers we are able to produce detailed drawings. These can be adapted at any time in accordance with our client’s needs and taste. Our designs range from the basic and functional to the most exotic and from the antique to the modern in very broad range of materials.
Consultancy
We are always pleased to give advice on all aspects of fine woodworking, both modern and historic, covering all the fields in which we work. We offer on-site inspection and reports on furniture, joinery and carpentry.
Courses
Having always been interested in historic woodworking techniques, I have been passing on my knowledge for the past 12 years. I conduct one-day courses in traditional joinery for the Weald and Downland Museum and for the Georgian Group.
